After completing her education in Russia as a violin and viola performer  , Maria  continued her music education as a conductor and composer in Austria, at Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna ("Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität de Stadt Wien"), where her teachers were Prof. Andreas Stoehr, Prof. Peter Paul Kaspar, Prof. Mag. Dirk D'Ase. She tooks intensive conducting Masterclasses with Professor Lior Shambadal (Chief Conductor of the Berliner Symphoniker) , Maestro Filippo M. Bressan, (Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and the Berlin Sinfonietta), conducting workshop with Maestro Paul Nadler from The Metropolitan Opera. Maria has been invited as a guest conductor to work with many orchestras World-wide, but her biggest love and pride is the Beijing International Chamber Orchestra, which she found in Beijing in 2007.

Since it was found, Orchestra rapidly grew up from 1 5  to 65 members and became a symphony orchestra, but still loved to keep its old name "Chamber". Under Maria´s leadership as a chief-conductor BICO performed about 800 concerts, in cities of China, Japan and Russia. The orchestra is comprised of a diverse array of nationalities, including China, Russia, Georgia, Japan, Taiwan,Australia, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, France, Canada, Belgium, Korea, Hungary,Austria, Italy,Spain, England, Mongolia and the United States. BICO  gives four pairs of formal concerts per year, performing a wide range of repertoire and instrumentation.
